Provenance:
- Acquired at a Belgian auction, ca. 10 years ago, by the current owner. (Bernaerts, Nov. 20, 2006, Lot 344 - scans of the original catalogue available on demand)
- At that point sold from the private collection of a general practicioner from Mol, Belgium.

- Generally in excellent condition.
- Reduced, as visible from the catalogue entry.
- Around the cut, negligible minor glaze abrasions visible.
- Minor surface wear and removable dirt.
- A small spot of loss to the green enamel of one of the claws.
