A large Chinese famille rose armorial basin with the arms of Lambert for the English market, Kangxi/Yongzheng, ca. 1722

Decorated with the arms of Lambert, a wealthy London merchant and director of the South Sea Company, above the motto 'SEGUITANDO SI GIUNGE', which can be translated as: 'I will follow if you join'.
