A polychrome Dutch Delft melon tureen and cover on leaf-shaped stand, 18th C.

The tureen marked on the base with an axe, for 'De Porceleyne Bijl', Delft, ca. 1760 - 1770. Both the tureen and cover inscribed with a blue numeral 4. 
The stand marked 'VH' above a numeral 3 on the rear, for Hendrik van Hoorn, 'Drie Posteleyne Astonne' workshop, Delft, ca. 1759-1804.
