Description
Of compressed globular form with a broad shoulder, the body rising to a tall, slender neck terminating in a flared mouth, and set with a bulbous spout applied to the shoulder. The body is divided into alternating broad and narrow vertical panels, the larger panels painted with flowering branches and 'flying horses', the smaller with kraak-style diaper ornament. The shoulder is encircled by shaped cartouches reserved with stylised motifs against a diaper ground, while the neck is decorated with upright lanceolate leaves. The domed spout is divided into radiating panels enclosing flowering peach branches tied with ribbons, and the mouth rim is bordered by narrow bands in underglaze blue.
