Condition: (UV-checked)
- Both overall of very attractive appearance, with the glaze well preserved, generally in very good condition. The eyes with a later addition of small bronze or copper balls.
- The lion on the left with the tail broken off and reglued, chips to the horns on the upper lip and a few very small superficial chips throughout.
- The lion on the right with chips to the horns on the upper lip, a few very small superficial chips throughout and some baking spots to the glaze.
