- Both in very good condition.
- One with a star-shaped glaze line of app. 4 x 2 cm visible on the inside only. Minor baking flaws around the holes.
- One with two tigh glaze lines of app. 1 cm each visible on the inside only, hardly worth mentioning. Minor baking flaws around the holes.

Provenance: The collection of a French lady, Paris.

Pot-pourri jars of this particular shape appear to be exceptionally rare. A pair of pear-shaped 'Pompadour' pot-pourri jars and covers, but with unusual pale celadon grounds, was sold at Sotheby's London, 8 November 1994, lot 274.
