Description
The deep rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a slightly everted rim, finely painted to the exterior with eight five-clawed dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst scrolling clouds, all above a band of cresting waves and stylised ruyi-heads, the interior centred with a further iron-red dragon medallion enclosed within double-line borders and above a band of breaking waves, the base with a six-character Jiajing mark in underglaze blue within a double circle.
