Provenance:
- The collection of Mr. and Mrs. S., Ghent, Belgium. 
- The Late Gothic marble fireplace fragment was acquired from the flea market in Montpellier, France, in September 2010, according to the owner's inventory notes. 
- The sculptured limestone fragment of a bishop with mitre was acquired from Vanonkelen, Brussels, Belgium, in February 2000, according to the owner's inventory notes. 
- The marble fragment of Medusa and dragon was acquired from Cambo Market in Paris, France, in July 1997, according to the owner's inventory notes.
