- The top of the cover with a monogram and a superficial dent located at ca. 12 o'clock.
- The lacquer and gilding of the exterior generally in good condition, with minor superficial wear. One corner with a visible tension line at at ca. 5 o'clock.
- The interior with minor age related tension lines, with a small superficial chip of the rim at ca. 6 and 8 o'clock.
- One out of four lacquerware covers from the interior with a small superficial dent. The other covers generally in good condition.
- The ivory cover generally in very good condition.
