Provenance:
- An important Belgian private collection.
- Acquired from Aronson Antiquairs, Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2006 and with their label to the base. 

Conditierapport:

- Both horses with restored breaks of the ears, with related overpainting.
- The left horse, with normal superficial wear and the two raised legs restored.
- The right horse, with normal superficial wear and a few touch-ups, located at the rear of the saddle and two of the eight ribs of the base.
