- A Belgian private collection.
- Acquired by the current owner's grandfather from Yamanaka & Co. in London on October 13, 1923. Accompanied by a scan of the original invoice. (by repute) Lot 168 in this sale (Chinese archaic bronze ritual wine vessel, Shang) was also purchased on this invoice. The original invoice comes only with lot 168.
