The plates depict the following, from top to bottom and left to right as seen in the photo:
- Top: The Crucifixion of Christ
- Bottom left: Het Avondmaal, which can be translated as the supper. In this context supper refers to the Eucharist as one of the seven Catholic sacraments. 
- Bottom middle: Het Vormsel, which can be translated as the Confirmation. This refers to confirmation as one of the seven Catholic sacraments.
- Bottom right: Het Priesterchap, which can be translated as The Priesthood. This refers to the taking of Holy Orders as one of the seven Catholic sacraments.
