Provenance: An English private collection, acquired from the family of a fisherman whom supposedly caught it in the nets.

Condition:
- A restored section at the top rim.  (see added pre-restoration photo)
- The tip of the nose retouched.
- Some restoration around the foot.
- Minor superficial wear to the glaze in the area just below the handle.
