- The cover with a few small superficial rim chips, otherwise excellent.
- The cup with a small rim chip with related ca. 1 cm hairline and two further hairlines of ca. 5 cm and ca. 2 cm.
- The saucer with a small rim chip and a ca. 2 cm hairline.

Decorated with the historic subject of the young French King Louis IX with his mother, Blanche of Castille, the border of the tea bowl inscribed 'L'EMPIRE DE LA VERTU ESTABLI JUSQU'AU BOUT DE L'UNIVERSE'.
