the dish illustrates the tale of Yang Hsiang, one of the 24 paragons of
Filial Piety, and the tiger. - One plate with a number of small rim chips repaired around the dish, on the extremities of the rim, lighting up under UV light. (The two largest shown in the photos below this description) - The other plate also with a few repaired points on the extremities, and one somewhat larger repair, probably to mask a small reglued break of ca. 4 cm, visible on the back under UV light.
