Provenance:
- A Dutch private collection.
- Acquired by the grandfather of the current owner, during one of his maritime visits to China. Presented with the original wooden boxes which were made in The Netherlands, for safekeeping of the vases.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- One in quasi excellent condition with four small touch-ups to the ornamental border on the shoulder.
- The second also in quasi excellent condition with two small touch-ups to the ornamental border on the shoulder.
