Painted with a continuous scene allegorical of 'Liberty and Matrimony' depicting three birds surrounding a couple seated in a fenced garden, the young woman opening the door of a birdcage, and the gentleman holding a bird.

Condition: (UV checked)
- The cup with a small superficial chip of ca. 3 x 4 mm on the outside of the rim, a hairline running down from the rim of ca. 15 mm and a spot of enamel imperfection.
- The saucer with a very small superficial fritting of ca. 1 x 1 mm on the backside of the rim.
