Beijing, 1953. Folio, 2 volumes bound in Chinese style in polychrome wraps, enclosed in a floral scroll-patterned brocade folding box. In fine condition. This collection of wood-block reproductions of paintings was published by the famous Peking art publishers in honor of the 91st year of the painter Qi Baishi, which was celebrated in 1951. There are a total of 120 multicolour prints, of which 44 are after designs by the master himself.
