Covered in a light brown glaze, the cylindrical body moulded in relief with a frieze showing an arcade with half-length figures of the electors above their coat of arms, and three other coats of arms, one dated 1609. The frieze inscribed: 'MARQVIS: SPINOLA:ENGELS:KONIG:ROEMISCH:KAISER:SPANS:KONIG:KONIG:IN:FRANCRIC:KONIG:IN:DENMAR... and monogrammed MBB. The handle also with an impressed M. Possibly referring to the workshop of master potter Mennicken.
