A rare Chinese blue, white and copper red 'dragon' censer, Kangxi

Provenance: The collection of Gerard Vissering, former president of the Dutch National Bank. He was an advisor to the Chinese emperor and became a Mandarin official of the 2nd class.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- Generally in very good condition, with a nice tonality of underglaze red.
- A faint glaze circular glaze line visible on the inside only, of ca. 5 cm, not visible on the outside.
- A tight glaze line on the outer glazed part of the foot, with a related tight glaze line extending of ca. 12 mm. Also partly visible on the inner part of the foot.
