An extremely rare and fine Chinese gilt-bronze Buddha, inscribed 大明正統己未金川比丘昌靜捐資命工造, Zhengtong mark and of the period, dated 1439

The underside of the base is incised with an inscription dated: Da Ming Zhengtong Jiwei Jinchuan Biqiu Changjing Juanzi Minggong zao 大明正統己未金川比丘昌靜捐資命工造 ('commissioned by the monk Chang Jing of Jinchuan in the Jiwei year of the Zhengtong reign of the Ming dynasty').

- The central decorative section bent due to impact.
- Two sections missing from the base rim.
