The arms are those of Belgian noble families "Ernst de Brunswyck" in alliance with those of "de Dieudonné", inscribed "Sine Invidia Laudem".
The mug and lid probably both 17th C., the engraving probably added in the 19th C. in celebration of the marriage between Léopold Jean Gérard Alexandre Ernst and Zélie de Dieudonné in 1864.

Condition:
- Generally in very good condition.
- The silver lid not closing entirely "flat" onto the top as visible.
- The jug with minor superficial scratches and slight scuff marks.
