A polychrome Dutch Delft butter tub with a dog, 18th C.

H.: 11,5 cm - W.: 12 cm

Condition:
- The tub in very good condition with small superficial chips on top and foot rim, two sections of crazing on the outside.
- The cover with the tail broken off and restuck, the break restored. Further restoration to the lower part of each leg, suggesting that the dog was probably broken off the ground. A chip to the right ear (from the dog's perspective) retouched.
