Dim.: 25,5 x 23 cm

Each marked MB on the back, for Mathys Boender or, in all likelihood, his widow, the "De Vier Romeynse Helden" workshop, Delft.
According to René Louis Delenne in Dictionnaires des Marques de l'Ancienne Faïence de Delft, the widow, with maiden name Gorinchum, overtook the workshop in 1722.
Below the mark, the plaques are dated 5 October 1726, allowing the attribution to the period of widow Boender's ownership.
