A large Italian maiolica footed bowl with Amor, Montelupo or Caffagiolo, 1st half 16th C.

- Displaying very well, with a good fresh glaze and of monumental size and appearance.
- The surface with a number of superficial baking flaws throughout.
- The upper and middle rim with a few superficial chips on the outer rim, some filled.
- A ca. 15 cm hairline running down from the rim and another of ca. 5 cm.
- The foot with three restored sections, corresponding to the sections purporting to be unglazed on the inside of the foot. The restoration coming of age and in need of conservation or reworking.
