Condition: (UV-checked)
- The pair generally in very good condition.
- The general surface with a number of minor glaze abrasions, superficial wear and mild crazing.
- One tureen with a faint ca. 5 cm hairline visible on the inside, slightly on the outside.
- One cover with a ca. 2 x 1 cm section of glaze loss on the side of the tail.

Marked VH above a numeral 3 in blue on the base, for Hendrik Van Hoorn, the 'Drie Posteleyne Astonne' workshop, Delft, 1759-1804.

Provenance: A distinguished English private collection.
