Inscribed S. De Scordio and 4 IPA in a shield. This shield replaces the more standard satyr's head as encountered on Brussels pharmacy jugs. It's a so called "house mark", as noted in "Apothekerspotten uit de Nederlanden", Dr. D.A. Wittop Koning, p.52, afb. 73, where a Dutch Delft example inscribed 4 AW is illustrated.
