A Chinese polychrome Swatow jar with Buddhist lions among peony scrolls, Ming

- The wooden cover with bronze finial in good condition, nicely carved.
- The jar with a ca. 4 x 3 cm triangular rim section missing and filled, an adjacent ca. 6 x 4 cm rim section restuck.
- The part below the luting line in good condition.
- With a circular break around the luting line, with retouching visible.
- With three breaks from the rim towards the luting line.
- With old repairs visible to the mentioned damages.
