An exceptionally large bronze figure of Buddha, Nepal, 18th C.

Provenance:
- A Dutch private collection.
- Acquired in 1970 from Aalderink, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, antiques dealer of repute, with original invoice present.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- The large bronze Buddha generally in in good condition, with normal superficial wear, a few superficial scuff marks and areas with casting defects. The backside of the head with an old repair.
- One pin in de bottom section of the mandorla replaced and reinforces by screws.
