This lot was sold on 2022-05-14 and is no longer available

Dim.: 54,5 x 44 x 20,5 cm

Condition: (UV-checked)
- The box is in good overall condition with the drawers, doors and the bases intact. There is occasional small flakes and chips to the carving as can be expected. Metal parts are in good condition.

Please note that carved parts are probably in another softer wood than zitan, possibly nanmu or huali as it was customary done, allowing the fluid sculpture of the swirling clouds and dragons.

Provenance: The collection of a French envoy in China in the first half of the 20th C.
