Ref.: Chinese Armorial Porcelain for the Dutch market, Dr. Jochem Kroes, p. 162, cat. no. 71, for a large dish. The text states: "Large dish..., part of a service with one other known piece: a teapot (h. 11,5 cm) today in the Ostfriesische Teemuseum in Norden, Germany. ... This porcelain is a good example of a souvenir service which would have been made for Jan Blankebijle as a memento of his stay in China in 1733.
