A Chinese black-ground Bencharong bowl and covered jar for the Thai market, 19th C.

The covered jar: H.: 8 cm

Condition: 
- The bowl with a number of small chips on the outside of the top rim and some superficial wear to the enamel. 
- The covered jar with the lid with overpainting along the entire outer rim. A small tension line visible on the inside of the cover. 
- The jar with a small tension line visible on the inside of the base and a small area of overpainting on the rim of ca. 1,5 x 0,2 cm.
