A Chinese carved ivory group of a scholar with pupil, early 20th C.

Condition:
- The stand with the bonsai tree not fixed to the group, the ivory with small losses and superficial chips. Otherwise in very good condition with minor typical age-related wear such as staining and superficial surface scratching and small tension cracks. The engraved panel slightly bending outwards of the wooden frame.
