This enamel on biscuit porcelain monkey holding a peach alludes to the Monkey King Sun Wukong. According to the legend, he disrupted a banquet hosted by the Queen Mother of the West Xiwangmu, by attempting to steal a rare immortality peach. The monkey is one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Condition:
- Excellent condition.
- Minor wear of the glaze at some spots.
