An unusual plate decorated with a central panel of floral chinoiserie, topped by a coat of arms with 3 standing swords, surmounted by a knight's helmet with another sword. The border divided into panels with floral chinoiserie, the whole in Kangxi style. The coat of arms possibly that of French noble Mathieu de Lagorge.
