Naturalistically modelled, the melon shaded from green to yellow and fixed to a green leaf-shaped base, its veins picked out in blue, the stalk as a handle, the cover applied with trailing vine as a handle. The mark unfortunately scratched away, but we have attributed the piece to Pieter Adriaensz Kocks at De Grieksche A, 18th century. In very good condition, a slight chip to the base.
Size: 17,2 cm long, standing 12 cm tall.
