Provenance: A Belgian private collection of mostly lacquerware and boxes, formed in the 20th C.
Condition: (UV-checked)
- Presenting very well, an attractive piece of lacquerware.
- The cover with a number of small superficial losses.
- With a visible crack on the inside, only slightly visible on the outside. No traces of repair or glue showing up under UV-light.
- A tight superficial line visible on the inside only of ca. 7 cm.
- A small repair visible on the inner rim of ca. 1,5 x 0,5 cm and another small retouched superficial chip of ca. 3 x 3 mm.
- The box with a few very small chips to the upper rim.
- The upper and lower edge with a few very small areas of superficial inpainting.
