This previously unrecorded design is copied from 'L'Apoticaire Charitable', an engraving by Bernard Picart (1673-1733), published in 'à Paris chez Chereau le Jeune rue St Jacques', ca. 1720-30. A reproduction is in John Grand Carteret's 'Centre de L'Amour', 1905. (see attached scan).
